One-day and half-day workshops

Small Garden Sculpture. This one-day class introduces you to techniques and materials to make your own small garden sculpture. Using scrap wood and chicken wire to make an armature, you will design your own shape, usually allowing the material to guide you. In the afternoon you will apply a layer of cement and scrim to make it suitable for outdoors. Full guidance given. All materials supplied. Wear old clothes and footwear and bring a packed lunch. Maximum class size 6. If you have 5-6 participants you can book your own date, please contact Billie to arrange. 10am-1pm.
£100 each

Make a Mug. This half-day class runs from 10am till 1pm. The class is for 6 participants.
If you have 5-6 participants you can book your own date  (if available, please contact me to arrange a date)

You will be guided with step-by-step demonstration to construct a mug with clay, using the slab method of hand-building. We shall impress textured objects and lettering into the clay slap to decorate and personalise. Finally we all have a go at making and attaching a ‘pulled’ handle.
The mugs are then left to dry out for glazing and high firing and to be collected at a later arranged date.
10am – 1pm £50 each
